Julio Kohji, is an award-winning graphic designer recognized by the Society for News Design. Raised in Uruguay by a Japanese parent, he has been based in Japan since 1996. During his tenure as art director at Metropolis magazine in Tokyo from 2007 to 2016, Julio Kohji honed his multidisciplinary skills. Since 2017, he has been working both independently and collaboratively, providing graphic design, photography, and videography services for clients, including Suntory, JTB, Pasona Group, adidas, Tokyo American Club, The Foreign Correspondents' Club of Japan (FCCJ), The Japan Times, Tokyo Weekender, as well as various government-related projects and non-profits such as Shine On! Kids.
